L200
The Mitsubishi L200 iis a pick-up from Mitsubishi. Although the pickup has many names around the world such as Forte, Strada, Mighty Max, Triton, Dodge D50, RAM50, Arrow Truck, Storm, FIAT FullBack, the name L200 has been used in most markets.
L200 Mk I
The first generation L200 was sold in Japan as the Mitsubishi Forte. There were several versions available. The version with a stronger engine also came in a leisure version; this one had a smoother cargo space with fewer holes to stretch a net over the cargo space.
L200 Mk II
The second generation L200 was introduced in 1986. In Japan this pick-up was launched as the Mitsubishi Strada. In the 1993 model the model was given a facelift with a new grille and bumpers as the most visible changes. Although the pick-up started out more like a work vehicle, slowly more leisure versions were added.
L200 Mk III
In 1996 a new model was introduced. At the end of 2001, the pick-up was given a facelift, including new headlights. The SUV Pajero Sport was developed from this model and therefore shares many parts.
L200 Mk IV
The fourth generation L200 was unveiled in 2005 and then sold in 140 different countries. From this model the name L200 became more common.
L200 Mk V
In 2014, the fifth generation L200 was unveiled and sold from 2015 onwards. There is a new 2.4 l diesel engine and this model is also sold as Fiat Fullback. The latter is no more than an L200 with other Emblems.
L200 Mk VI
The new Mitsubishi L200 was launched at the end of 2018. Better than ever and the most advanced pick-up in the world. Of course with the famous and reliable Mitsubishi 4X4 drive.
