In January 1993 Mitsubishi Motors imported the Mitsubishi Sigma Wagon from Mitsubishi Motors Australia (MMAL) and launched it on the Japanese domestic market and later in Europe.
The Sigma Wagon is made on the basis of the Mitsubishi Sigma.
For that time a station wagon with an appearance and very luxurious equipment. It was powered by a 3.0L 12v V6 engine with a variable electronic valve system with separate inlets for low, medium and high revs to provide comfortable cruise power.
The rigid body structure contained excellent impact energy absorption as well as a range of high strength and sidebar bodies for absolute safety.
