The Mitsubishi Outlander is Mitsubishi's medium-sized SUV. The first generation appeared on the Dutch market in 2003 exclusively with petrol engines.
After the appearance of the second generation in 2007, the old model was sold for a few more years under the name Outlander Sport Since 2007, the range has also included diesel engines.
In 2010, the Outlander underwent a major refurbishment of the "Jetfighter" grille.
The third generation Outlander was available from the summer of 2012. The novelty of the program was the Outlander PHEV, a rechargeable hybrid with a 121 hp petrol engine and a 120 kW electric motor.
In 2015, the popular SUV was given a new look and also received Dynamic Shield Design, just like all other Mitsubishi models.
The Outlander PHEV is a resounding success and is currently the world's best-selling Hybrid SUV.
